Where Earth Stands Still reflects on the fragile and complex relationship between nature and the human being, transforming sculpture into an ephemeral process shared with the environment. Three figures made of earth, grass, and flour, placed on the summit of Monte Stivo, become living devices that record the action of time and natural agents. Through this sustainable and symbolic choice, the statue, a traditional emblem of eternity, is reimagined as a body destined for change and decomposition, revealing the paradox between permanence and transience that runs through the human condition.
