“Pittura che divora un paesaggio”

In this painting I wanted to represent the contrast between an apparently figurative (but not realistic) landscape and a sort of monstrous and voracious entity, painting. I liked the idea that the scene of the close-ups, which may seem a very normal and anonymous countryside landscape, was contrasted by the arrival of this stormy entity made of informal painting, performed with rapid compulsive and not premeditated gestures, which is literally and inexorably "eating the scene".
