This work explores the concept of the void in alignment with Japanese philosophy, which identifies Ma as a fertile and necessary space for the birth of life and new possibilities. The fragmented aesthetic draws inspiration from Leo Lionni’s picture book "Pezzettino", which tells the story of a protagonist convinced that, because of his small size, he must be a missing piece of a larger creature. After searching in vain for his origin among others, Pezzettino eventually realizes that he is himself made of many small pieces and is complete and important just as he is. The artwork consists of twenty wooden elements, measuring 15 by 10 cm and weighing 100 g each, and is designed to be interactive. The individual pieces are magnetic and arranged on a metal base, inviting the public to engage with the work by modifying the composition at will. The technique involves acrylic on wood, a metal structure, and magnets, and the piece is intended for horizontal display on a table or on the floor, with the metal base measuring 140 by 140 cm.
