This performance stems from a deeply personal need: to confront my fear of making mistakes. This fear is rooted in a competitive environment where failure was not an option; over time, it evolved into an obsession that, like all obsessions, leads to paralysis.
To represent this, I chose to write the words “do not break” on several eggs. The eggs symbolize fragility and evoke the expression “walking on eggshells,” a perfect metaphor for constant tension and uncertainty.
The video captures me writing on the eggs while traveling on a train, a gesture that contrasts my stillness and internal focus with the unstoppable movement of the world around me. The eggs are then exhibited as a reminder of what not to do, but what happens if I break them? (Dimensions can change )
