The sculptural object shown is a sound object, the geometric figure is pure, in solid wood. When placed in vibration, it transmits sound in a unique way thanks to its material and geometric characteristics.
When taken individually, it begins to resonate once placed in contact with a source of vibrations transmitted by the pedestal.
It is the latter that contains the technological apparatus useful for playing any music from devices via bluetooth, cable, or wi-fi. The base, without the structure, would lose its amplification and you would hear low-volume sounds (like those from a turntable not connected to the system). The choice of harmonic geometry as a means of diffusion is made to better study and observe how the geometry of sound frequencies interacts with the geometry of the form. The structure resonates with any music and sound, giving its own spatial interpretation.
The use of materials also influences the color, spatial distribution, and perception of the distance of sound. Identical in shape and size, the structures show how different materials modify the expression of classic instruments. Thanks to a vibro-amplification system, each circle acts as a resonator, revealing how form and material influence the perception of sound and expand creative possibilities.
Ro Edition - Limited Edition 1 of 32 pieces. Materials: plastic, iron, wood.
