Starting from the question “où va-t-on se rencontrer ? » I chose this time Murakami Haruki’s trilogy 1Q84, in which the two main characters, in love since childhood, end up meeting again as adults in a parallel world. They meet in the world of literature, which is recognisable from the real world by the presence of a second moon in the sky.
So -ci is a landscape where the moon is rising and reveals the linguistic particle -ci, the Italian way to say “us”, the act of meeting, but also the being-there.
