The work arise in the exhibition project “Le Vie del Profumo”, a path in the use of perfumed essences, precious and sometimes sacred substances, from the ancient civilizations of the Mediterranean basin, to the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, up to the 19th and 20th century, when the great perfume houses were developed. “Essenza” is a Coco Chanel’s Paris Amazon, the figure that emerge from black, color of elegance, imposes its essence with a decisive character, a sinuous trail of perfume that rises like a divine offering.
