Environmental installation, Extrusion (35 cm)³, 2017, variable emerged dimensions (posing at 35x35x35 cm), glass and metal support.
The Extrusion (35 cm)³ project is represented by a sculpture device that can be immersed in water and that produces an emersion of a portion of the interested aquatic mirror, making visible what is usually hidden “under” due to the reflection of light.
The first time was placed within the project A path of signs / Art and Environment curated by Alessandra Scappini, Sincresis, Empoli, 2017.
In an artificial lake, a transparent cubic element (movable and repositionable) has been placed on the surface of the water, allowing observation of the state of the water, its dynamic flow and the crossing of natural elements such as leaves, branches, insects.
In addition to the temporary installation, a series of photographs have been produced that exceed the documentary intention, becoming works that tell how the landscape is an anthropic reality, they create a discontinuity of planes, in the case of macro shots and a visual discontinuity referring to a vision that incorporates sometimes analogical and sometimes digital thinking.
