Contrast. The principle of opposites finds its identification in “Fade”. “Fade” is a grey onyx embodying the beauty, colours and unique shapes of a frail timeless process. The same beauty is declined by opposition in an almost repulsive element, a sort of rotten skin abandoned to itself, in which one seems to smell it. Beauty and decadence dialogue in the artwork in an unfailing language between attraction and repulsion.
The technique used in “Fade” is subtraction combined with traction techniques.
