The research focuses on ‘refusal’: refusal to be, a refusal that creates the marginal and the interstices. The refusal of the market creates layers of leftovers and excesses. Voice will be given and work will be done on a collection of abandoned objects, ruins of the contemporary, abandoned because they do not conform to what is required or to the performing progress. These will become words and music for a song/story that will blend with the resistance of the place. Halfway between personal and societal rejection as well as the disposal of an abandoned object, we will investigate a form of resistance that shall become both subtle and audible material in the space. The chapiteu will be a place that will collect the sound fabric, to con-fuse its persistence with the insistence to be heard given by sound.
