Today it's not about making stuff from a virgin material with a fresh start, but it's about finding your place in the many different production systems.
The artistic (and social) issue is not anymore about the question: "What can We make, that is new and innovative ?"but rather about "What can We do with what's already out there?"In other words, how can We make things that are singular and have a meaning starting from this Caos of people whose interest and balance, compose our daily life. Todays artists have to program shapes, rather than compose them. Rather than modify and change an empty element ( canvas, clay... ), We have to recombine shapes and products already in the "market" using their intrinsic informations to recreate a new different world.
