HOMONILI IN CRINOLINA

This work is part of an installation that includes various pieces made of crinoline and other fabrics. Humanity is presented in a precious and golden form, but sometimes it conceals a dark and obscure soul, not always virtuous. Conversely, it can also be a light and transparent figure, flexible and knotted upon itself in distorted anatomical shapes, conveying a valuable inner essence amidst the folds of the spirit. The work is installed hanging, suspended in space.
It is designed to be placed in nature, among the branches of a forest where man can rediscover his own essence. The thread of precarious oscillation is always active; we are never stable. We may forget it, but in reality, this is how our existence functions.
