Hope bearers

This painting represents all those people who stand at the gates of tomorrow when a new day is coming. Those people who, even when times are harsh and bleak, are able to see the light. All those people who choose to look to the brightest part, the very people who are beacons of encouragement and hope.
I wanted to create an epic imagery, a timeless aura for this picture. Inspired by ancient civilizations and mediterranean culture I used my visual vocabulary, made of lines and bold colours, to celebrate people who have the strength and faith to bring hope and optimism.
