The work presents itself as a polyptych—both delicate
and cruel at once.
Each frame is composed of layered graph paper and features tulip petals placed on metal blades positioned at
eye level.
This chromatic coincidence evokes an epidermal surface, becoming almost hemorrhagic due to the intensity
and variation of the overlapping papers. These sheets
unfold in sequence, paralleling the progressive incisions
on the petals, caused by the blades themselves.
Time and the fragility of human relationships emerge as
central themes of the work, which takes its title from a
poem by Nâzım Hikmet, serving as both inspiration and
emotional echo
