Inspired by a book... but above all by my love for buttons... "Chocolate against pain. Jam against memories. It's a method that works, I use it too when I'm sad, with buttons. I open the box and I spread them all on the floor. I line them up by shape, by color, every time I am amazed at how different they are. Do you remember when I told you? From the look I understood that you knew what I was talking about. "Buttons. But look at fate! I like them a lot too. Now that I think about it, I never told you, but I ran a button company for years." In this book, the friendship between an Auschwitz survivor and a girl.
I created this work thinking about the children in the holocaust and the little flowers that are born despite the obstacles in the concrete, among the stones.
