PARTECIPATED ART / PAVEMENT PAINTING WITH PLASTOMETRIC RESINS - EDITION OF 1
After the long lockdown period, after the many moments of loneliness, "LIMITI" represented a new way of living the dance for each of its protagonists.
The historical moment experienced in 2020 has established new rules and with them likely new visions. A cubic meter, a symbolic limit, to be respected or crossed, as a cue for reflection to create and evolve. Concept, that of the geometry of the square, always present in the creations of the director and choreographer Alessia Gatta, who with the artist Viola Pantano - who directs the video - felt the need to experiment in a work of videodanza the multiple possibilities of moving and observing these distances.
By coming into contact with the surrounding space and the evocative setting of the medieval village of Alatri, the performers had the opportunity to investigate their art in this limit delineated by the homonymous floor work that acts as an urban scenography for the video. The musical creation is signed by the Russian violinist, vocalist and composer Daria Fisher, capable of giving the project a spectacular mix of techno, ambient and electronics among the tense sounds of the violin.
