Madre

"Madre" manifests itself as a bio-mechanical body enclosing an undefined inner universe. Its form recalls a synthetic womb, a keeper of memory, origin, and nourishment. Inside, a series of speakers diffuse deep, vibrating sounds: the visitor, immersed in total darkness, sees nothing but perceives each sonic breath as a movement of the body itself.

Sound becomes landscape, matter, and vital pulsation, challenging the boundaries between artifice and nature, and transforming listening into a corporeal, intimate, and generative experience.
