Mom and Dad

Mom and Dad synthesizes transversally all the works in the series: the use of drawing as a means of graphic stylization for a lived experience. The intricacy of short and dense segments – traced in pencil – form small aggregates, just like single events in a lifetime. While creating this, I imagined the drawing as a graphic synthesis of passing time, of the memory preserving it and of the attempt at representing an essence through a cathartic creative act.
