Since elements of everyday life, thanks to a pure mental operation (Marcel Duchamp), become "subjects" of works of art, Sculpture, Installation, new materials and even new technologies, together, look to the future by strengthening the their connection and offering new possibilities.
Plastic, three-dimensional, essential shapes. Individual elements that together make up a sculptural installation. It takes inspiration from the interior of a typical wooden boat, in particular, from the set of six elements that make up the support platform. This fundamental space circumscribed inside the boat represents, for me, a metaphor: a support for the lives of the single individuals who make up the community and face the same journey. In my installation, the six elements of the platform, still together but out of context, thus reassembled in a vertical position, are symbolically transformed into a hypothetical "New Urban Landscape" in which it is possible to perceive peace and balance.
The sculptural installation, in real size, is made up of six trapezoidal-shaped slabs in cor-ten steel, 8 centimeters thick. It is divided into an area of 78.75 square meters. The current measures are subject to possible changes.
