OSSESIVITA’

This painting is made with two/three layers of transparent sheets on which there are architectural designs. On the external sides of the canvas there are burns and carmine red color dripping, while in the center of the canvas there are other burns, one in particular larger from which carmine red is dripping again.
This work aims to represent obsessive compulsive disorder through architectural drawings depicted by repeated and layered lines that symbolize the obsessiveness and compulsive repetition that is characteristic of the disorder. Instead, the burns and blood present in the canvas represent the pain caused by obsessive compulsive disorder
