WRAP YOU!

By Federica Flore

Igor Grigoletto imagines a specific installation for Corradini Home Solution, not only in reference to the site, but above all to the client, to the people who have deeply wanted it.
WRAP was born from the need to highlight not so much a space-container, but rather its content, characterized by the identity of its people, by the dynamics between them and by the relationships of life experienced in everyday life precisely in this place.

In the work we find all the intoxication of a constructive process, which regulates what before such a thought seemed unable to exist. Thanks to Igor, we are faced with an almost organic, lively, dynamic and iridescent form, although it remains set in a wall.
But then, who can experience this space animated as by an inner flame and made up of overlapping levels, albeit different, so stable even in the precariousness? Well, anyone who knows how to walk, hunt, provoke and get involved in this passion. Here, first of all, we find who asked for a change to take place, who allowed it, who will benefit from it. Client, artist and user become one in view of a renewed everyday life of the space.

From this thought, Igor Grigoletto crosses his language, now consolidated, to break down the barriers of the obviousness of those answers, even aesthetic ones, that are expected from an artist now strongly channeled into his own signs, reconstituting it. The result is curves, no longer broken lines, evolutions and harmony.
This is how WRAP appears, a real emotional structure. A red spiral like the passion of all the actors involved. This time, the artist does not need bindings, as he usually observes in his works, it is not necessary to highlight the interdependence: it is already inherent in the structure itself.
The work features a black background to increase depth, like a dreamlike mirror. In front of him, the viewer can play with the dark and the growing contrast with the flaming red of the emerging sculpture, engulfing it in a strongly expressive dynamic. More than a sculpture, however, it is preferable to call it an installation, "three-dimensional art", as the artist himself defines it. In its tubular volume, it arises from the wall, it is sedimented in the very essence of the architectural structure, it is not a new piece placed later, it is like a soul that manifests itself more and more evidently in a progressive manner, in an increasing time.
The ties are strong, they are plurilateral: the same precepts of the client who wants to lead the customer towards a unique solution. Igor, with the release of this very personal red spiral, interprets a way of living this space which, metaphorically, he occupies starting from the inside, like a heart, in the beat. Here, movement is generated, time is modified, the physical rules of statics, highlighted by Grigoletto's wise choice to direct the perspective of fruition from the bottom upwards in a propulsion that is not at all regular, are questioned, as emotions, like people: never inscribable in a perfect rhythm.
WRAP is not constriction, but a comfortable wrapping. The title itself stimulates the representation of that piece of identity that the space lacked: like the hearth in the center of the old houses and everything around is life.

A network of hookups, of meetings of windings and rewindings of the self immersed in this reality which must not remain suspended, but propose truth and attachment.
Igor Grigoletto presents himself as an artist attentive to the relational dimension, in which to discover a renewed measure of knowledge of space, which determines the nature of the passages of the inhabitants of that specific area that we call WRAP!
