The portrait, in motion, of an artist in action. The process of creation, in the moment in which it takes place, following, in the editing (instinctive, not mediated, like Maurizio L'Altrella’s painting), the criterion of the original temporal order: a sort of jump cut of a " piece "of life. The portrait is "temporal", also in reference to the human condition that can be represented.
The first of a series of video portraits of artists who adapt their structure to the pictorial gesture, to the movement, to the expressive flow of which the artist is a manifestation: the shooting and editing follow the rhythm in total empathy with the protagonists of the portrait. The film, the portrait, becomes dynamic abstraction: the figure gets lost in the movement.
