“Sadboy" is a cardboard box belonging to the well-known brand inside which the advertising image of a child's face is placed. With regard to the iconicity of packaging, it is possible to state that the packaging of a brand through a citational and intertextual migration mechanism after an initial moment of indexation can be recognized as a symbol of some values. The packaging and the brand thus enrich their semantic potential by incorporating the uses and consumption of a certain culture or era.
