"The Human Party" arises from the need to exorcise the innate fear of oblivion, in a present dominated by passive nihilism, where the only certainty remains the inevitability of the end.
The work, both in its pictorial variant and in its installation form, aims to be a visual transposition of the perennial cycle of death and rebirth that characterizes human experience and life in general.
Confetti cover anonymous bodies, just as the trodden earth hides the remains of what once was. Era after era, one party after another.
Or a silent massacre, the remnants of a celebration that for some simply signifies the end of history, implosion of all meaning.
