In a world where beauty is stereotyped up to a model of unattainable perfection, the perception of some women towards themselves changes, and even the most beautiful woman becomes prey to fictitious paturnias born from the dissatisfaction of reaching the incomparable, thoughts that how tangles intertwining with each other become, in this sculpture, concrete reality.
The subject is a model of a woman in a classic pose, referring to the beauty of ancient art, revisited in a contemporary key thanks to the use of the 3d pen, a tool usually sold as a toy for children.
The pose is static, the proud look turns into one of despair, the head down .. feels the weight of this sick society.
The material as delicate as it is elastic, refers to the fragility and resilience of the human psyche.
Accepting one's imperfections is an act of strength and extreme beauty.
