In this work, the artist's exploration focuses on the isolation of the sonic gesture. In "Solista," the material seems to slide and accumulate along a central axis, evoking the figure of a performer merging with their instrument. The material (plaster) does not encase the object, but transfigures it into an organic, fossilized entity, making the silence that follows the performance tangible. The sculpture thus becomes a simulacrum of a human presence that is no longer there, leaving as its sole testimony a plastic form charged with memory and restrained vibration.
