A waterfall made of sunrise lights. The water flows, appropriates the colors of
the sky and becomes the sky.
Sunrise Waterfall is a sculpture and at the same time a painting.
The shades arise from overlapping strands of thin colored cotton threads, drawing the colors of a sky at sunrise. The effect of the brushstroke used in painting is substituted by the use of threads, giving this work a sculptural value.
It is possible to see the sunrise in three different points: the sunrise painted on the tube, over the length of the threads and finally on the ground, where the coloured stream flows, breaks on the floor and lies.
The brass tube is a symbolic element that suggests the circularity of life, such as the circularity of day and night alternation.
Every day the sun rises and sets, awakening colours of our reality, again and again ...
