Portion of the sea, arises from the artistic cycle relating to the awareness of what man consciously produces: initial well-being, environmental and social degradation, desolation and physical and spiritual death.
The title is inspired by the widespread pollution in all seas and waterways, unfortunately also in the aquifers. The work is literally an imaginary "portion" of our seas: plastics on the surface, layers of dead or contaminated fish, marine wood deriving from rivers now full of unmanaged vegetation and hydrocarbons constantly dispersed by oil tankers, underwater pipelines unloading wild into the sea.
