At the base of this project there is my personal research and attraction towards the suggestive forms that nature offers us, that natural aesthetic that is
often clouded by the frenzy of our lives. The main subject of this series are the trees, extrapolated and decontextualized from reality and reproposed
later in a new form, unreal, a new visual and evocative image but at the same time easily ascribable to the subject of departure that leaves the viewer
free interpretation of the senses, even though it contains within it elements that express their meaning and concepts in fact inside is hidden all the
emotional, sensitive and personal charge of the particularly dark period in which it is present, elements such as the choice of colors and the cold representation
of the branches, bare, dry, intertwined in a repetitive skein are some of the cues to fully understand the conceptual meaning of the work. In
this case art was used to exorcise that particular moment and the chosen subject is not accidental but has been adopted as published in many
cultures it is a symbol of life and especially of rebirth. Turn back is an ongoing project is a project that investigates the relationship between new
technologies and printing techniques of the past, after processing a digital image on the computer I printed it using printmaking techniques focusing
on the artistic process itself, the result represents how impossible it is to dialogue between the present and the past as technologies develop to help
man in the contemporary historical moment. This combination of present and past techniques results in an image that is not exactly the starting one
and the whole process is also a provocation to the art market system where a classic print is worth much more than a digital print despite its
imperfections, this operation contains many aspects that I investigated during the process for example the combination of modern artifacts with classic
techniques , the long printing process that also enhances the work in terms of money compared to a digital print and the nostalgic relationship with the
past, the works are frozen in an indefinable time
