ULIVO TRA PASSATO E PRESENTE

The olive tree is an element that makes Salento a wonderful and unique land, but in recent years thousands of olive trees have been drying up. The sculpture represents a bit of the history of Salento and is divided horizontally into two parts, the lower one describes the story lived by the grandparents, who cultivated and worked with olive trees; the upper part instead represents the present, or the drying of the olive trees. The technique used is statuary marble.
