The one that is most linked to the tradition of the Maori and their tattoos is the "Moko", it is a face tattoo done on tribe members only for merits earned in battle or for noteworthy events.
The Maori's tattoo on women is made only on the chin and it represents belonging to one's man and to one's lineage.
There is another type of Maori tatto named "Kirituhi", it is a less mystical and spiritual and it can be drawn even on the members outside the tribe.
The one, which i have represented here is a decorative Maori.
Technique: Ink on synthetic leather. There are also materials used for the realization of the tattoo.
