Oil on canvas, polypropylene nylon, 70 x 70 x 5 cm.
Blue n.1 is part of the series of works called “Wearable Paintings”. The wooden canvas has been covered with cotton fabric (free of prime) both in its front and backside, converting it into a double-sided canvas. In the backside of the canvas I have attached two black nylon straps that function as a backpack arm holders, turning the painting into a wearable object. This gives the painting the possibility of movement and at the same time makes the spectator an active part of the work, because now he can take the painting off the all, wear it on its back and move it around from private to public space and back.
