For most people, “insects” represent a dark entity, a swarming of shadows. In this word, caterpillars and flies, moths and beetles, but also spiders and scorpions, and in some cases even mice and lizards, are united indiscriminately.
It takes courage to get close, and the humility to bend to the ground, to observe better. Then you will discover the wonderful shape of the smallest creatures that inhabit this land. The caterpillar symbolizes gestation, being in the making, the awakening of the candidate for spiritual initiation. It embodies the transformation, the passage from the profane to the sacred, from an earthly condition to a celestial condition.
The work was realized during the art residence zolle organized by ADA - ART ADVISOR and starred chef Antonello Colonna.
