SOS orienta la sua formazione alla grafica pubblicitaria, attività che esercita e che segue la sua crescita d’artista lasciandogli, come eredità, una certa attenzione per l’immediatezza e la leggibilità dell’immagine. Video, performance, DJ editing, fotografie sono caratterizzate dalla ricerca di un linguaggio «manifesto» e al tempo stesso «personale» che si basa sulla riprogrammazione degli usi e costumi tradizionali. Molteplici i suoi cicli artistici negli ultimi anni basati sull’esercizio concettuale del “togliere la mano” dell’artista: Russoliana, Suittable, random painting.L’operare come “Artista comunicatore” l’ha portato a sviluppare diversi progetti artistici e mostre tra cui: Anime, Progetto T-neo, #quartaporta, Without land, Spakkamuro in collaborazione con diversi enti e istituzioni. Ha partecipato inoltre all’8a Biennale di Berlino nel 2014 e alla 15a e 17a Biennale d’architettura di Venezia nel 2016 e 2021. Le sue opere sono presenti in numerose collezioni pubbliche e private a Marrakech, Tolosa, Shanghai, Pechino, Roma, Milano, Torino, Venezia, Bruges.
SOS orientates his professional development towards advertising graphics, a profession that grows with him as an artist simultaneously leaving him with a heritage of a certain awareness for the immediacy and legibility of the image. Video, performance, DJ editing and photography are part of a research for a distinctive – and at the same time personal – language which is based on the reorganising of the traditional customs and habits. He increased his artistic cycles in the last years, based on the exercise of the concept “hands off the artist” : “Russoliana” , Suittable and random painting.
Working as a “communicative artist” brought him to develop various artistic projects and exhibitions, among which: “Anime”, “T – neo Project”, “#quartaporta”, “Without land” and “Spakkamuro” in collaboration with various institutions. He also took part in the 8th Biennale in Berlin in 2014 and in the 15th and 17th Biennale for Architecture in Venice in 2016 and 2021.
