Transcendence is the result of an art-science residency at Brain.Space, a cutting-edge research center specializing in brain signal sampling. The goal was to create a scientific, artistic, and technological paradigm for converting brainwaves collected through Brain.Space's specialized headset into an audiovisual performance accompanied by coherent music. The brainwaves were recorded across three distinct emotional states: anger, enthusiasm, and meditation, exploring how different states of consciousness translate into sonic and visual expressions. The research is still ongoing, but a prototype was presented during the World Changers Summit at Vatican City in October 2025, in a performance that wove together brainwaves, algorithms, the artist on harmonium, and violin virtuoso Olen Cesari. The research is supported by WCS and ISIAC - Institute for Advanced Studies and Cooperation.
