Germina, born from previous research on seeds, is an installation created for the botanical garden of Lucca. The installation follows a flow that passes from the production of one sculpture to the next, where the constants are my obsessions of the moment: collective unconscious, Jung, fashion, body, health, contact, clay, landscape, hortus conclusus, recycling, bricolage, scraps, atelier, plants, garden, turmeric, aloe, other, alien, parasite, fun, secret, escape, hideout, fear, boredom, joy, production, slowness, greenwashing, climate change, another planet, nature, hyperobjects, interconnected, linked.
The installation was presented in the exhibition Com’è bella stasera la mia giungla di vetro curated by Irene Panzani, a review of contemporary art and philosophy on the complex link between man, nature, and technology.
