This illustration is part of a graphic novel about the everyday life and multiple moods of a character who is homebound due to the lockdown.
It is meant to be a light-hearted and sometimes ironic tale, but also to shed light on the feeling of loss that many of us have experienced, especially in the first period.
The character in the story has only one eye, like the cyclops, described in Greek mythology as monstrous beings living isolated from each other in natural caves. This eye can also be traced back to the one described in Hindu and Buddhist religious traditions, the eye corresponding to the sixth chakra, called the forehead, a kind of "inner eye."
