"LE TESTE" is an oil painting on 100x150 cm medium density panel.
The work develops on two levels; the first has my interpretation of Rembrandt's "Anatomy Lesson by Dr. Tulp" and on the second level, superimposed on the first, we have the heads of the two doctors on the left, isolated, enlarged and deformed to their fossilization.
The faces of the first pictorial layer emerge violently through tears in the second layer creating a new image from the scarring and emergence of the paintings.
