This work best represents an old project on museum prints, based on prints of statues, allegories, and idols encountered in museums. Exploiting the dreamlike process of Japanese Kintsugi art, the breaking lines are left visible, highlighted with gold. embellishing them with gold accentuates their beauty, making fragility a point of strength and perfection. Each print carries a unique and unrepeatable gilding because of the randomness given by the gold leaf and the uniqueness of the subject itself. From imperfection and a wound left by time, an even greater form of aesthetic and inner perfection can be born.
