Occupied

A swimming pool full of colored balls, apparently "for children", where the ingenuity of entertainment, reminiscent of the typical "children's spaces" of shopping centers, but invaded by an unexpected and absurd presence. "Occupied" is one of the works on the theme of childhood; Yú was one of the last ones raised during the period of the one-child policy existing in China until a few years ago; it elaborates in an absurd and joking way a conception and experience of childhood difficult to convey to those who, like most of us, associate childhood with a carefree and light time frame.
