Senza-Azioni

The walls of a space in addition to defining a place and a specific function, collect on the surface the actions that over time have been carried out on them. In Senza-Azioni the walls of the art gallery become the holders of the history of the place. Over time, artists who have moved into space have accumulated signs and traces on the walls that remain invisible to the eye. Through a thermographic scan it was possible to recover and make visible the gestures made on the surface. The result is a unique vision that encapsulates in a single image the accumulation of time. Cold and hot marks form a single design that is returned through the printing of thermography on transparent polyester fabric, subsequently installed on a three-meter rod anchored in a single point. This device explores a hidden and visible condition at the same time, communicates not only lightness but allows to perceive different chromatic intensities with respect to the angle from which it is observed.
