This work is a witness of an unspoken bond the artist has with nature. She asked to the land to borrow her some earth to realize raw earth bricks for the performance “La casa vivente” at MUDEC (Milan) and she wanted to return the favor by giving her back what’s hers after using it.
So there are two movements involved: a dislocation and a consequent relocation, and a circular flow that brings back to the origin what she asked and she took care of for a period of time.
