Drift presents two volumes intended to contain discarded matter, positioned facing each other in space. Between them, a fragile material—dry leaves—forms a suspended arc that attempts to establish continuity where only separation exists.
The line is not drawn; it is sustained. It does not define a path but exposes its instability. Detached from their natural cycle, the leaves operate as particles of uncertain displacement, temporarily organized into a precarious structure.
What emerges from one end does not arrive intact at the other. Along the way, the material disperses, weakens, and becomes exposed to falling. The arc does not guarantee passage; it puts it at risk.
The work approaches migration as drift—not as resolved movement, but as a condition sustained through precariousness. There is no arrival, only the unstable persistence of the trajectory.
