In April 2021 the EU delegation meets with the Turkish President in Ankara. At the presidential palace, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan lets the President of the European Council Charles Michel sit next to him, leaving the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen sit on a sofa.
Yet another public gesture that throws away the basis from explicit political violation towards women.
The acceptance of acts like these in daily life, public and private, make up the foundations of a patriarchal-violent mentality.
Without hurting anyone you can leave aside the dignity of a gender.
